2024/2025 Season

Time to get proficient!

These sessions are run by our volunteer trainers and assessors, so please make sure you are enrolled prior to attending and arrive on time.

All Members* who have patrol eligible awards are required to complete the skills maintenance checks relevant to the awards that they hold in order to be made or remain proficient.

The skills maintenance checklist will guide you through all you need to do

Download the checklist here and get started

Note: The online skills maintenance for PCs is only for those who hold the new SMPC award.

*If you gained your award after 30th June 2024, you do not need to complete skills maintenance as your award is deemed proficient until 31 December 2025.

Skipped a year? No worries! If you weren't proficient last season, please organise a timed pool swim relevant to your award before attending the practical session (see checklist for form link)
