Peter Swanson joined the Club as a nipper parent in 1983 and gained his Bronze Medallion in 1986. For his outstanding contribution to fundraising and Club events, Peter was named Outstanding Associate in 1992 and the Most Outstanding Club Member in 1995. He has been one of the quiet achievers  and hard workers for the Club.

He was awarded Life Membership of the Club in 2004.
