Our Club

In 2024, we proudly celebrate 100 years of service, vigilance, and community spirit. This centenary milestone is a testament to the dedication of our volunteers and the generations who have supported Alex Surf Club since 1924.

Today, we’re powered by:

More than 350 volunteer lifesavers keeping our beach safe
More than 600 Nippers learning vital surf and safety skills
Around 800 active contributors, including life members, parents, and long-service members
A thriving community club with over 45,000 members

From our lifesaving roots to our modern community hub, Alex has always been more than just a Surf Club, it’s a place where locals and visitors come together.

As we look to the future, we remain committed to upholding the values that have defined us for a century and carrying our strong community spirit into the next 100 years.
